St. Gemma Galgani

I shall love You; I shall love You always! When day breaks, when evening turns into night, at every hour, at every moment; I shall love You always, always, always!

St. Gemma Galgani

…I too, oh Jesus, have a great desire to love you in return….Yes, You have given me so much! I shall do everything for You; everything You ask of me.

St. Gemma Galgani

In her short life of twenty-five years, St Gemma endured so many of the sufferings experience by our young people today.

Father Jude Mead, C.P.

St. Gemma, “might well be a patron for our youth today and indeed she is an understanding model for them.

Father Jude Mead, C.P.

St. Gemma is a model for lay people who want to pray, who want to turn to God for help and consolation in their worried lives plagued by financial insecurity, broken homes, the emptiness caused by the death of loved ones, and the frustration of the willing who are unable in society where the able are unwilling.

Father Jude Mead, C.P.

If all were to know how beautiful Jesus is and how loving He is! They would all die of love. And yet, how is it that He is so little loved?

About Us

The founding principles of the Foundation of St. Gemma Galgani consider education fundamental, not only to eradicate poverty, but also as a decisive means for keeping young Catholics actively participating in the Church and by educating practicing Catholics to be better disciples in their families, parishes and communities. The Foundation of St. Gemma Galgani was established to offer Undergraduate Interest-free Loans and Scholarships to desiring Catholic youth who wish to further their education. The Foundation of St. Gemma Galgani aims to strengthen young Catholics through the promotion of Catholic virtues and service to the Church through its educational financial assistance programs of “Investing In Our Catholic Youth”.

Our Board Members and volunteers are parishioners at St. John Neumann, St. Martin of Tours, St. Francis of Assisi and St. Mary’s of Sorrow (Catholic Diocese of Arlington). As a small non-profit public foundation, we are totally dependent on individual and corporate donations to fund our Programs. Therefore, our Board of Directors and volunteers cover all operational overhead costs (advertising, banking fees, mailing, web site, paper consumables, etc.), so that 100% of all received donations are applied directly to our Undergraduate Interest-free Student Loan and Scholarship Programs.
